Summertime is upon us! The much-needed vitamin D increase has us excited about all the summer flooring trends.

The flooring forecast shows lighter and brighter styles, which are still trending. Warmer tones are also heating up. Ocean-influenced biophilic colors bring modern coastal vibes. We have the scoop on summer trends to stay cool all year long. 

Tile Trends

Tile is ideal in warm climates to stay cool. Urban Artistry is a pressed glass Terrazzo that is smooth and cool to the touch. The satin finish looks and feels beautiful and is floor and wall rated. The cool tones of the gray and white aggregate intermingled with the terracotta touches are easy on the eyes in this Hip-Storic vintage look.  

What’s old is new again, blending vintage with modern is trending. One of my favorite areas in the home to use Urban Artistry is the kitchen backsplash. Pair that with my favorite garden summer cold soup Gazpacho recipe for no muss, no fuss, and easy cleanup!
